Dale Carnegie Event-1

2026 Dale Carnegie Graduates — Essenhaus Conference Center, Middlebury, IN

Forest River recently brought employees together at the Essenhaus Conference Center and Inn in Middlebury, Indiana to celebrate graduates of the 13-week Dale Carnegie Course.

THE PROGRAM

WHAT THE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON

This isn't a lecture-style course. It's built around real situations employees face everyday.

Over the course of 13 weeks, participants worked on

   Communicating more clearly

Thinking on their feet and reducing self-consciousness

Managing Stress and maintaining a positive mindset

  Handling difficult conversations

Recognizing others and giving meaningful feedback

CORE PRINCIPLES

THE FIVE DRIVERS OF SUCCESS

Throughout the program, participants develop skills around five key areas that support long-term growth:

    Build greater self-confidence

 Strengthen people skills

  Enhance communication skills

  Develop leadership skills

Reduce stress and improve overall attitude

THE IMPACT

WHY IT MATTERS

When communication improves, everything works better.

  Teams stay aligned

  Problems get solved faster

  Conversations become more productive

  Handling difficult conversations

Customers and dealers get clearer support

That impact shows up across the company.

REAL-WORLD CONTEXT
The value of these skills goes beyond Forest River. Warren Buffett has credited a Dale Carnegie course with helping him overcome his fear of public speaking—something he calls one of the most important investments he made in himself.

It's not about changing what people do—it's about helping them do it better.
"This is something people can use right away. It's how you handle a conversation, how you respond under pressure, and how you work through challenges with others." — Kelly Mosher
